Have seen various rainbow, but have never seen such bright and double arc rainbow touching visible horizon in different part of the town in my Life forming full semi-circle. And such occurrence is definitely noteworthy. If you are reading this I'll like to know if you've came across such before.

Uber begins driverless taxi

Uber launched a groundbreaking driver-less car service Wednesday, jumping ahead of Detroit auto giants and Silicon Valley rivals with technology that could revolutionise transportation.

In an ambitious experiment, a fleet of cars laden with lasers, cameras and other sensors — but with no one’s hands on the wheel — were to be deployed by the web-based ride service on the challenging roads of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, steering themselves to pick up regular Uber passengers who are used to being fetched by cars driven by humans.

Four of the Ford Fusion hybrids with their ungainly rooftop load of technology will be deployed to a select customers on Wednesday, with the company showing at least a dozen more ready to put on the streets.

And Uber is well-advanced in developing a self-drive car with Sweden’s Volvo, expected to become the mainstay of the program in the near future.

A FEMALE PREACHER WAS HACK TO DEATH WHILE PREACHING IN ABUJA

Few week after a pastor wife was killed by some Islamic extremist in Kaduna State Northern Nigeria alleging her falsely speaking blasphemy. Another 42-year-old mother of seven, Mrs. Eunice Elisha, was on Saturday morning murdered by unknown assailants while evangelizing around Gbazango-West area of Kubwa, a satellite town in the Federal Capital Territory.
Eunice, who was a Deaconess at the Divine Touch Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Old NEPA Road, Phase 4, Kubwa, was said to have been cut in the neck and also stabbed in the stomach.
It was learnt that her killers left her in the pool of her blood with her Bible, megaphone, and cell phone.
Her remains were discovered by residents who alerted policemen who came to evacuate her to the police station where her husband went to identify her.
Speaking to newsmen at their residence, Eunice’ husband, Mr. Olawale Elisha, who is also a pastor at RCCG, said his wife had gone out to preach in the neighbourhood at about 5 am only for him to hear the report of her murder.
Olawale, who expressed shock over the death of his wife, looked pensive and dejected as he spoke.
He said, “My wife always goes out early in the morning for ‘Morning Cry’ (evangelism). There was a particular day she went out, and she told me that there is a mosque at the back where they commented about what she said. So I just cautioned her.
“This morning (Saturday), she went around 5 am and I was still in bed because we did vigil which she participated in for a while because of the ‘Morning Cry’ she planned to undertake. Two of my boys are footballers, so they went to the field to play. And when they came back, they told me that they heard some
footballers saying that some hoodlums had butchered a woman who was preaching early this morning.
“So, when I heard this, we trekked down in the shorts I was putting on, and we didn’t see anybody, but we saw blood on the ground. I asked a policeman around, and he said it is true but that they had taken her to Phase 4 Police Station.
“I went to the station with my children, and when we got there, I saw the lifeless body of my wife at the back of the van and from there, she was taken to the mortuary. The incident happened between 5 am and 5:30am because she usually goes out 5 am and comes back 6am.”
Elisha, who said Eunice was born on July 23, 1974, saidthey got married in July 2000.
“My wife was so committed to anything that is of God. She was a reckless giver to God’s work; she rarely missed any programs in the church. We have seven children,” he stated.
According to him, his wife had no quarrel with anyone that could have warranted her murder, describing her as a martyr.
“I see her as a martyr, and she died for Christ. And whether the people are caught or not, they should forgive them; my prayer is that if they can accept Christ, that will be a gain to Christ,” the bereaved cleric said.
A lawyer and friend of the Elishas, David Ude-Chukwu, described Eunice’ murder as hate crime brought about by religious insensitivity, noting that the constitution allows every Nigerian to practise his chosen religion.
My prayer is that God should comfort the children and all the loved ones of the diseased that was martyred.

9 very short stories worth reading

1. *FALL and RISE*

Today, when I slipped on the wet tile floor a boy in a wheelchair caught me before I slammed my head on the ground.  He said, “Believe it or not, that’s almost exactly how I injured my back 3 years ago .

2. *A FATHER'S ADVICE*

Today, my father told me, “Just go for it and give it a try!  You don’t have to be a professional to build a successful product.  Amateurs started Google and Apple.  Professionals built the Titanic

3. *The POWER of UNIQUENESS* .

Today, I asked my mentor – a very successful business man in his 70’s – what his top 3 tips are for success.  He smiled and said, “Read something no one else is reading, think something no one else is thinking, and do something no one else is doing.

4. *LOOKING BACK*

Today, I interviewed my grandmother for part of a research paper I’m working on for my Psychology class.  When I asked her to define success in her own words, she said, “Success is when you look back at your life and the memories make you smile.

5. *TRY and YOU shall KNOW*

I am blind by birth. When I was 8 years old, I wanted to play baseball. I asked my father- "Dad, can I play baseball?" He said "You'll never know until you try." When I was a teenager, I asked him, - "Dad Can I become a surgeon?". He replied "Son, you'll never know until you try." Today I am a Surgeon, just because I tried!

6. *GOODNESS & GRATITUDE*

Today, after a 72 hour shift at the fire station, a woman ran up to me at the grocery store and gave me a hug.  When I tensed up, she realized I didn’t recognize her.  She let go with tears of joy in her eyes and the most sincere smile and said, “On 9-11-2001, you carried me out of world trade centre.

7. *LOOKING BACK*

Today, as my father, three brothers, and two sisters stood around my mother’s hospital bed, my mother uttered her last coherent words before she died. She simply said, “I feel so loved right now. We should have gotten together like this more often.”

8. *AFFECTION*

Today, I kissed my dad on the forehead as he passed away in a small hospital bed.  About 5 seconds after he passed, I realized it was the first time I had given him a kiss since I was a little boy.

9. *SHARING*

Today, I was traveling in Kenya and I met a refugee from Zimbabwe.  He said he hadn’t eaten anything in over 3 days and looked extremely skinny and unhealthy.  Then my friend offered him the rest of the sandwich he was eating.  The first thing the man said was, “We can share it.”

_Cheers to life_

One of the best posts, ever gone through.....thanks to all those who decided to share these real life experiences

SINA RAMBO STORY

Shina Rambo (born c. 1963) is a former bandit who terrorised South-West Nigeria in the 1990s. After serving jail-time for his crimes, he was converted by an evangelist and became a Christian evangelical
pastor. Shina Rambo now Mathew Oluwanifemi was a name that sent shivers down the spine of people who lived in the South West of Nigeria and even outside Nigeria, like Benin Republic and neighborhood, in the 1990s.
He was a hardened criminal, a terror and killer, one whom men of the security agencies will never forget
in a haste.
A man mountain, towering about 6 ft 5inch, well built, dark skinned and sweltering eyes, he carried out his
operations, like a movie, in the broad day light, with sophisticated weapons, and bullet belts and
explosives strapped roundabout him.
He specialized in robbing exotic cars on highways and banks. Nothing could stop him, not even security
operatives, he was totally invincible. He was Shina Rambo!
He was born in the year 1958 to a military man who was a bad egg in the service. His father was from Abeokuta in Ogun state, but his mother was a native of Sabongida–Ora in Edo state.
His father had over 18 wives, as was the norm for soldiers to impregnate virtually every woman they met where they were posted to. His father used his military influence to rob innocent citizens, and always
brought huge amount of money home.
This used to entice little Shina. He recalls, “I remembered when I was about 7 years old, my father came home with a lot of money, foreign currencies, with blood on it, and they were using something like a woman’s scarf to wipe it, then I asked him, is this an animal’s blood, or human blood? But he wouldn’t
answer me, they were just drinking, smoking, and merry making.
”Shina was already indoctrinated into the underworld by his father at a tender age of 7 without him knowing it, as he would sit in front of his son, to dismantle and assemble all sorts of weapons and then polishing them in preparation for an operation.
This went on for so long till one day, little Shina, entered into his father’s room while he had stepped into the toilet, and saw a dismembered gun on the floor.
He sat down in front of it, and bit by bit, he had assembled it effortlessly in no time at all. His father came out of the toilet, and saw his son, with a loaded gun in his hands. Shina flashed back and said, “That day my father was so disappointed, that he wanted to kill me, he grabbed the gun from my hand and shot straight at me, but I miraculously escaped out of the room. Then he waited for me to be less alert at night he came to my room with a machete and tried to behead me, but once again, I escaped, but the machete caught my left leg. (rolled up his trouser to
show us the large scar, that made everyone sighed in pity).
It cut me so deep I thought I was never going to walk again. That day I knew I had graduated, all that was
left was to pull the trigger, and I was so eager. Shina Rambo became so notorious in no time, and was hell
bent on succeeding in his career as an armed robber, that he went through any length to secure spiritual powers for fortification.
To the extent of pounding over 27 live new born babies in the mortar with a pestle, cutting off about
100 human tongues and cooking them to eat, visiting the spiritual river called river of life in Ogoja, Cross Rivers State, living in an Iroko tree for days, and sleeping in the cemetery.
He was given a spiritual wife who always followed him for any operation, she dressed like an Alhaja, people thought she was human, but she was a spirit, that was why they never saw her face.
He said she was his personal driver, that she could drive from Nigeria to Cotonou, in the speed of light.
Hear him. ”I was involved in so many rituals, that I can’t start naming them now, I was so powerful, I went underground, inside trees that looked like a city, a lot of beautiful houses inside the tree, I had my own too, I went into a river called River of life in Ogoja, where a lot of politicians and wealthy men
used to come, I had several personalities, I could change my form whenever I wanted to, that’s why the police were busy killing innocent people, and thought
they were killing Shina Rambo.
The 9 herbalists that gave me that power, I became stronger than them, one day I went to their shrines, and killed all of them, so that they don’t reveal my secrets. I had too many powers; my spiritual wife could drive any car in this world or out of it, no police vehicle, or anyone for that matter, could ever chase and catch me during an operation.
She was out of this world, and when she had completed her operation, they took her away from me. I could give anything to get powers, and the
elders knew, so they also gave me anything I wanted.
I once beheaded hundred men, and gave them the heads fresh, they were so happy with me that they
made me invincible.
No matter the kind of bullet you shot at me, it was just like pure water on my body. I could give anything to get power, but of all the things I did to get power, the one that still breaks my heart the most, is
sleeping with my mother. My father is dead now, but my mother is still alive, and she lives with me she is
85 years old, whenever I set my eyes on her, I just start crying.
I can`t bear it. Shina Rambo was a raging terror, he was infallibly dangerous, the police dreaded him,
both in Nigeria, and Benin Republic, his place of interest for business.
He would go to police stations, in broad daylight and kill every policeman there, drive to check points and open fire on every policeman on duty, he didn’t like
the police at all, and was never afraid of them, he operated in broad day light armed to the teeth looking like Johny Rambo, in the popular Sylvester Stalone movie, “First Blood”.
He once robbed 40 exotic cars in one day and drove all of them in a convoy, from Lagos to Cotonou,
unstopped. He was powerful; he was wealthy, and impenetrable. He was a tin god, apparently belched from the very arroyo hell, we all dreaded him. He had a wife and three children, but he lost all of them in one day during a bloody police raid whilst he was
away on operation.
His wife was his stabilizing factor his life changed afterwards. He says “my wife was everything to me,
I was forbidden by the elders to sleep with any other woman apart from her, I could gather about 50
women around me in a hotel, and they will just be playing with me, we would smoke, drink, and sniff cocaine, I will give them money but I will never sleep with them. I will go back home to my wife and sleep
with her. That was why the police never caught me.
She knew my job, she knew what I was, I never left them alone at night, I operated in the day time and go back home to my family at night.
I had everything, I was very wealthy, I once spent 50 million naira in a day. I did it a lot, there was one day
that we were coming from an operation and it seemed as if my powers were going to fail me, the
police and the army were almost closing in on us, so we had to drive into a crowd and threw millions of
naira in the air, there was commotion, everybody was busy picking naira notes even the police, until we escaped.
I was too rich, but anything the devil gives you never lasts, he will collect more from you, it’s only the devil
that will give you Fila, (cap) and ask for Iro and Buba. (wrapper and top). I lost everything, all the money, my family; I was so powerful the police couldn’t catch me but I lost it all.
I had to surrender myself to the
police, and I was arrested and jailed for 11 years. When I was serving my jail term in Agodi prisons, Ibadan, Prophet T.O Obadare came visiting, and having been encouraged several times by the Christian brothers and sisters in the prison to give my life to Christ, he prayed for me and converted me, and changed my name to Oluwanifemi, and it was so
miraculous, the next day I woke up and started speaking in tongues.
It was during the time of President Olusegun Obasanjo, that we were granted freedom.
At this point, I was glued to my seat, the revival where Shina Rambo gave this exclusive confession was on an open ground revival in the ancient city ofIbadan, right in front of me, on stage, was Evangelist Mathew Oluwanifemi, the once feared Shina Rambo, clad in a loose fitting shirt, black pants and a pair of leather sandals with a black Holy Bible in his hands, gigantic dark skinned and bald headed, still had those fiery looks, and stealth movement.
I was more transfixed than focused, God is indeed awesome, he picked the offering basket raised it to the congregation prayed and asked who had anything to give to God, at first I was reluctant, my mind was occupied and out of an innate compulsion, sheer curiosity I stood up, dipped my hand in my pocket
walked towards him briskly and calculatedly brought out my offering, dropped it into the basket, and looked deep into his eyes, I had too many things to ask him, there were too many questions unanswered.
He looked back at me, and spoke in Yoruba, saying God bless you my brother; we know your type when
we see them. The congregation broke into a mild giggle, as all eyes were on me as I went back to my
seat, with a lot of things on my mind, and the red light on my midget still blinking, in the breast pocket
of my jacket…

how to stop reckless spending habit

With my experience and that of people around me have come up with these few tips on how you can curb reckless spending habit, which are as follow:
1* Be discipline: Some one define "discipline as act of knowing the right thing and doing it". since your mind is telling you to curb your spending then do it with strong determination, even with self denial to achieve your goal.
2* Make budget: it is necesary to do this so you can be able to account for how you spend and to avoid over-spending.
3* Stop using credit/debit card: The  ease with which we use this card to buy things and get money at nearest ATM temps its user a lot to spend beyond normal and unplanned. In my own case when I realise how much have spent withing a short period of time I had to decide to break it and throw it into thrash can. because as long as i'm using it my saving would seen go red. So do away with debit card before it make you go broke.

ANOTHER FOOTBALL TEAM MANAGER OF NIGERIA NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM DIES JUST 3 DAYS AFTER THE DEMISE OF STEPHEN KESHI

Former Nigeria Super Eagles' coach Amodu Shaibu passed away after complaining of chest pain.
A relative of the late Director of the Nigeria Football Federation, Shaibu Amodu, has said that the former
Super Eagles coach died after complaining of pain in the left side of his chest.
Akuri Afegbua, who is a cousin to the late Shaibu, also said that the late coach died of frustration from the alleged non-payment of his financial entitlements by the NFF and the Edo State Government.
Amodu died on Saturday morning in his sleep at his residence in Benin, Edo State.
The 58-year-old father of eight from Okpella in Etsako East Local Government Area of the state,
was also said to be the Executive Director of the state youth football development agency before he
resigned last year.
But Afegbua said that he had complained of not being paid by the football federation and the state
government and how his financial status had made it difficult for him to take care of himself and his immediate family.
According to him, Amodu had travelled to Benin to demand the payment of his outstanding entitlements before he died.
He said tearfully, “I think he died of frustration, his financial status. He was not paid. He was complaining of not being paid and had no money to maintain himself and his immediate family. “I think the purpose of him being in Benin was to put in a bill for his payment, both NFF and the state government.”
Afegbua explained that the late coach had a history of high blood pressure.
“We were together yesterday. In the afternoon, he called to say that he was feeling some pain in the left side of his chest and he called in a doctor.
“The doctor test him; he had 140 over 100 as his blood pressure. The doctor said that it was not bad, he could continue with his fasting,” he
explained.
He also added that the ex-Eagles coach was full of life on Friday when he assisted one of his uncles to secure a bail at a police station.
He was also said to have led in the prayer to break the fast on Friday, before he was suddenly found
dead at about 4am on Saturday.
“Apart from that he complained of pain in his chest, he was perfectly okay. We came back this morning
to wake up to do the normal fasting but met him dead.
Afegbua said Amodu’s death had left a great vacuum that could never be filled.

NIGERIA CELEBRATE HER DEMOCRACY DAY ON THE LOW KEY

May 29 is the day Nigerian celebrate her democracy day, to mark the date democracy was returned after rough and tough decades of military dictatorship. this history was made when Gen. Abdulsalam Abubarka ( who took over after mysterious demise of tyrant dictator Gen. Sani Abacha ), handed over power to the elect president on may 29th 1999.
Since then Nigerian have been on her road to the dreamed promise land and had been ruled by several leaders since then. fifteen year after then Nigeria is still no where near the promise land as the would be smooth ride have been turned rough and almost stagnant by various poor political policies and corruption and i'll will to hold-on to power..
And its quiet unfortunate that all the dividend of democracy Nigerian expect has not been met.
And the society is characterised with abject poverty amidst the poor majority and few extremely wealthy people as Nigeria have the richest black man and woman (Aliko Dangote and Folorunso Alakija respectively ), also there is extreme poverty here as there are countless people without home and more than 70% of the population earning less than 1$ per day, and more than 80% underemployed.
This is because the wealth of the nation is concentrated in the hand of few, and most of the population doesn't have enough to meet their basic daily need, therefore the natural drive for people to get rich. hence the perceived corruption seen amidst the citizen but it is extreme poverty and hunger that bring about this corruption which has so much affected the economic growth of the country.
But the present president  Rt. Gen. Muhammed Buhari as sworn and fighting hard with with corruption and trying to restore the the integrity of the country.

THE ZIMBABWE PRESIDENT ROBERT MUGABE ALLEGED 40 FUNNY QUOTES

I came across these quotes credited the long time Zimbabwe's president and they are incredibly funny and interesting.... enjoy as you read

1. Any man who successfully convinces a monkey that honey is sweeter than banana, is capable of selling condoms to a Roman father.

2. Dear ladies, If your boyfriend didn't wish you a happy mother's day or sing sweet mother for you, you should stop breastfeeding him.

3. He who swallows a complete coconut have
absolute trust in his anus.

4. Dear sisters, don't be deceived by a man who text you "I miss you" only when it's raining, because you are not an umbrella.

5. Swimming pool is more useful than Liverpool.

6. If over 15 guys have sucked your breasts, you don't need to call those things "your breasts", It's called COW BELL, OUR MILK! - Repeat after me, OUR MILK!

7. It's hard to bewitch African girls these days.  Every time  you take a piece from her hair to the witch doctor,  either a Brazilian  innocent  woman gets mad or a factory in China catches fire.

8. All I hear always is, 'No sex before marriage?' If that was God's plan, then you would receive your penis or vagina on your wedding day.

9. The only warning Africans take serious is LOW BATTERY.

10. Men sucking lady's breast is normal because the act was learnt in childhood when they were young but the act of lady's sucking men's d*ck is what baffles me, where did they learn it from?

11. Whenever things seem to start going well in your life, the Devil comes along and gives you a 'girlfriend'.

12. When your clothes are made of cassava leaves, you don't take a goat as a friend.

13. If you have attended over 100 weddings in your life and still single, you are not different from a Canopy.

14. Dating a slim/slender guy is cool. The problem is when you are lying on his chest then his ribs draw adidas lines on your face.

15. If you are ugly, you are ugly. Stop talking about inner beauty because men don't walk around with X-rays to see inner beauty.

16. Respect pregnant women because it's not easy walking around with evidence that you've had sex.

17. Some of the girls of today can't even jog for 5 minutes
but they expect a guy to last in bed with you for
2 hours? Your level of selfishness demands a one week crusade.

18. I stopped trusting ladies when my class 3 girlfriend left me for another boy all because he bought a sharpener wid a mirror.

19. Nothing makes a woman more confused than being in a relationship with a "broke" man who's extremely good in bed.

20. Witchcraft is when a 24 year old girl who cannot jog for 5 minutes expects a 40 year old man to last for 1 hour in bed.

21. Being dumped by a dark-skinned girl is the worst thing ever; because anytime you get home and see charcoal, you become emotional.

22. Women with beauty and no brains, it is your private parts that will suffer the most.

23. When one's goat gets missing, the aroma of a neighbour's soup gets suspicious.

24. Its better for a man to be stingy with his money because he hustled for it than a woman to deny you a hole she didn't drill.

25. Even Satan wasn't gay, he approached naked Eve instead of naked Adam. Say no to same-sex marriage.

26. If you are a married man and you find yourself attracted to school girls, just buy your wife a school uniform.

27. It is every man's dream to remove a woman's pant one day but NOT when it's on a drying line.

>>> 2015 Collections... By DKA

28. Virginity is the best wedding gift any man would receive from his newly wed wife but lately, there's nothing as such any-longer because it'll have already been given out as a Birthday gift, token of Appreciation, Job assurance, Church collection, Examination marking schemes & for Lorry fares!"

29. Treat every part of your towel nicely because the part that wipes your buttocks today will wipe your face tomorrow.

30. We are living in a generation where people “in love” are free to touch each others’ private parts but cannot touch each others’ phones because they’re private.”

31. Sometimes you look back at girls you spent money on rather than send it to your mum and you realise witchcraft is real.

32. If President Barack Obama wants me to allow marriage for same-sex couples in my country (Zimbabwe), he must come here so that I marry him first.

33. South Africans will kick down a statue of a dead white man but won’t even attempt to slap a live one. Yet they can stone to death a black man simply because he’s a foreigner.

34. What is the problem? We now have aeroplanes which can take them back quicker than the ships used by their ancestors.

35. Mr Bush, Mr. Blair and now Mr Brown's sense of human rights precludes our people's right to their God-given resources, which in their view must be controlled by their kith and kin. I am termed dictator because I have rejected this supremacist view and frustrated the neo-colonialists.

36. Cigarette is a pinch of tobacco rolled in a piece of paper with fire on one end and a fool on the other end.

37. A brave man is he who has a running stomach and still wants to flatulate.

38. Journalist: Sir don't you think 89 years would be a great time to retire as a President.
Mugabe: Have you ever asked the Queen this question or is it just for African leaders?

39. Interviewer: Mr President, when are you bidding the people of Zimbabwe farewell?
Robert: Where are they going?

40. My dear ladies, please don't buy a selfie stick when your armpit itself needs a shaving stick.
